As Maria became more interested in the importance of exercise for its health, well being and holistic qualities, she moved away from Martial Arts to concentrate on teaching Tai Chi, bringing the understanding and benefits of this form of excercise to a wide range of people Maria now works with a wide range of groups and clients. Her aim is to develop each individual physically and mentally according to their own levels and needs, therefore her teaching is very flexible. Additionally she believes strongly that exercise should be enjoyable so that students leave classes not just feeling energised and invigorated but relaxed and happy. Maria Holland is also a qualified and experienced massage therapist with an extensive background in competitive sports. With a deep understanding of the musculo-skeletal system, Maria offers a broad range of techniques and treatments that help restore balance and remove tension, enabling optimal fitness and vitality.
